Hello...My name is Maggie Read. I'm the artist and photographer behind The Art of Wine, a business I started on a whim when I found out my phone number spelled WINE. Who knew?  Over time, it has grown to be a treasured collection of thoughtful, artistic and colorful pieces, each highlighting my true love of wine and photography.

I am inspired by colors, textures and patterns found in the vineyard at my Southern California home. I love creating whimsical pieces that will add color somewhere in your life... perhaps for a "save the date" card for your wedding, or to remember your 1st date, honeymoon, or a souvenir from a favorite stop along the wine trail. This gives purpose and meaning to my work.

So who am I? I was born with art in my blood. As a child I spent countless hours with my Aunt at her home creating masterpiece after masterpiece. Soon I graduated to photography when I received my 1st Kodak Camera and you could find me outside snapping pictures of seascapes, landscapes, flowers, family and friends.

Thanks to you, my loyal and amazing customers, I now have a busy little gift shop. I am beyond grateful for your overwhelming support. Thank you for letting me do what I love, the art that makes me happy...and hopefully makes you happy too.
